Mother’s Day Mocktails

What are your Mother’s Day plans? Like many things, our Mother’s Day gathering is going to look a bit different this year. This homebody is totally ok with that! The day can still be made fun and special while celebrating at home with my daughters. Mocktails anyone?

Thank you to Samsung Home Appliances for sponsoring this post today. My Mother’s Day Mocktails wouldn’t be possible without our Samsung 4-Door French Door Refridgerator.

My youngest and I decided to have a bit of fun in the kitchen experimenting with mixing up some Mocktails. Using our favorite drinks and adding fun fruit options, we had a blast spending this quality time together. We’re sharing our favorite concoctions, plus there might be an adult version at the end too!

Grapefruit Ginger Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 3 oz Ginger Beer
  • 3 oz Sparkling Water or Seltzer
  • 1 oz Grapefruit Juice (you can squeeze this right from the fruit)
  • Splash Lime Juice

Add ice as desired to your favorite glass. Add all ingredients to glass, mixing together. Garnish with grapefruit and/or lime wedge and enjoy!

Sparkling Blood Orange Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Blood Orange San Pellegrino
  • 2 oz Sparkling Water
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp honey (this is optional but it adds a nice flavor)
  • Splash of Lime Juice

Add all ingredients to your favorite glass over ice. Mix and garnish with an orange slice. Enjoy!

We had so much fun creating these kid friendly drinks. They were both refreshing and will definitely be enjoyed on the porch once the weather warms up. Hopefully come Mother’s Day the weather will cooperate and we’ll be sipping our Mocktails in the sunshine on the patio. The Blood Orange Mocktail was our favorite! Imagine something like an orange creamsicle. This one reminded me of my childhood and simpler times. Give it a try, or try both!

Now lets take a peek at the fridge that holds all of my Mocktail ingredients. The Samsung 4-Door French Door Refrigerator has room for all the things and more! We love the flexible storage space it provides. All of the shelves can be adjusted to your desired height. So don’t worry if you need a space to store that tall bottle of wine ; ) you can adjust your selves to make room! My favorite is the humidity controlled fruit and veggie drawers that help to prevent spoiling. Love my fruits and veggies so this is so important. This fridge has so many features to offer plus it looks really great aesthetically too!

I did promise an adult cocktail option. So if you’ve made it to this point in my post, I thank you and you deserve a refreshing cocktail. Here’s my version of a Moscow Mule. And sorry there’s no pretty picture of this one. I drank it responsibly as soon as I was finished mixing.

Moscow Mule

Ingredients

  • Double shot Grey Goose Vodka
  • 6 oz Ginger Beer
  • Splash Lime Juice
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Lime Slice for garnish

Grab some ice, I prefer crushed. Place ice in a copper mug should you have one. If not, no worries any glass will do. Add ice, vodka (use the good stuff, it tastes better), ginger beer, and lime juice to mug. Mix. Garnish with mint leaves and a lime slice. Sometimes I muddle the mint to add a bit of that flavor to the drink. Its very refreshing. Must be 21 and over to enjoy! And always drink responsibly.

Thank you for stopping by to check out how we’ll be spending Mother’s Day this year with our fun Mocktails and Cocktails. I hope you’ll give them a try. I wish you a happy Mother’s Day and hope its beautiful no matter your plans.
