Tips to Refresh Your Home for Spring

This post is sponsored by Babbleboxx. All thoughts and opinions are that of my own.

Spring is my favorite time of year. There’s no better time, when the windows are open and the Spring breeze is flowing in, to refresh your home. Several things I like to do to refresh my home and get it ready for Spring include cleaning, organizing, replacing the old with new, adding new plants, and adding a fresh scent. Not only are these tasks a refresh for your home, but I feel like they help to reset my mind.

Clean and Organize

I feel like cleaning and organizing go hand in hand. Spring is my favorite time to declutter, donate, and toss all the things we no longer need or use. Something about getting rid of all the things accumulated over the past year is so freeing. Once I’ve done all the organizing and decluttering I like to give everything a good cleaning. One of my favorite products to use for this is Boulder Clean Disinfecting Wipes. These eco friendly wipes come in flatpacks which are super easy to store or throw in your bag for messes on the go. I love that they are perfect for cleaning surfaces at home or, if you have kids like mine, all the sticky messes that can happen in the car. And since Boulder Clean Wipes are 100% non-toxic while killing 99.9% of bacteria and viruses they can be used worry free. Boulder Clean is offering a 10% discount off your order now through June 1, 2021 with code Babbleboxx.

Ok, so now that I’ve tossed out all the unwanted things it’s time to add some new touches to the home for Spring. One thing I’ve been really excited to replace is our pillows. I was shocked to discover how much dander pillows can collect which make them more susceptible to dust mites. Gross!! So when I had the chance to replace our old pillows with Pacific Coast StayLoft Organic Cotton Cover Pillows I jumped on it. Not only do these pillows look lovely with navy blue cording they are covered in incredibly soft certified organic cotton. The organic cotton cover blocks dust mights and is specially woven to keep the down securely in place.

Liven Up Your Space

With all of the cleaning and organizing finished, it’s time to add some new life and fresh scents to make my Spring home feel more homey. Plants are a great way to liven up a space. Unfortunately I’m terrible at keeping plants happy so this Spring I chose to try out a herb garden. I used this Indoor Herb Garden Starter Kit which is pretty fool proof. It’s a great kit for beginners or someone like me who absolutely does not have a green thumb. You can grow fresh basil, cilantro, sage, thyme, and parsley. The kit comes with everything you need. I’m looking forward to watching my herb garden grow and to cooking up a delicious sauce with my home grown basil.

Add A Yummy Scent

Lastly, nothing makes a house feel more renewed than a lovely scented candle. I’ve been obsessed with my Lulu candle in Fresh Linen. If I could wash my sheets every day just to get that fresh linen scent I would, so this candle is perfect. Best part is Lulu candles are made with soy wax and handcrafted right here in the US.
